Mic Sign Ups

Sign-ups for our mics open on Wednesday at 10am and will stay open for a few hours. We recommend setting up push notifications for our Instagram: @ComedyMobNYC

If you are going to bring a guest, you get put into a lottery of comics and we choose 10 from that group.

If you are not willing to bring a guest, you get put into a different lottery and we choose 3-5 from that group.

If you get chosen, you will receive a confirmation email within an hour. If you are not chosen, you will NOT receive an email.

All our mics are free for comics and guests with a 1 drink minimum.

If you do not bring a guest but said you would, we reserve the right to not let you perform that night.

If you need to cancel outside of 24 hours, please respond to the confirmation email.

We understand emergencies come up and people get sick. Canceling within 24 hours or no-showing twice will get you suspended from our mics for a few months.

This is the only way to sign up for our mics. Please do not email or DM asking for a spot.

About Our Mics

Our open mics usually have anywhere between 20-60 audience members which is why you’ve probably heard about our mics being the best.

Currently we run 3 weekly mics:

Sunday at NYCC East 4th @ 5:30pm (Comedy Mob East)

Monday at Rodney’s Comedy Club @7pm (Monday Night Mob)

Thursday at NYCC 24th St @ 6:00pm (Comedy Mob 24)

Every week we have over 200 comics sign up, so it may take a while to get on. Everything is random. Keep trying.

Sets are 4 minutes long and are for comics to have real audience in a low pressure situation to try out whatever they want.

Our mics are free for audience and comics but both have a 1 drink minimum.

Aside from having a room full of real audience members, our mics also stand apart due to comic support. We ask that comics stick around for the show and support as much as possible.
